Special Events
Special Events begin at 11:00 AM on Thursdays and will be held at the Tarpon Springs Heritage Center Museum at Craig Park on Spring Bayou, 100 Beekman Lane [map]. No registration is required. Recommended for ages 4 and up.

Teen and Tween Programs
Teen and Tween Programs are for ages 10-17 unless otherwise noted. Registration is required for all teen/tween programs.
- Create a French Memo Board - Tuesday, July 10 @ 2:00 pm
More than just a bulletin board. Use your own style to create a unique memo board.
- Hanging Candle Votive - Tuesday, July 24 @ 2:00 pm
Recycle old jars into useful and beautiful hanging candle holders.
- End of Summer Party Lock-In - Thursday, August 9 @ 6:30 to 8:00 pm
One last hurrah before school starts. Games, refreshments and fun.
Educational Programs
Educational programs are for children ages 6 to 12, and most begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesdays unless otherwise noted. Registration is required. (Registration begins the Monday of the week of the program, in person or by phone.)
- Creative Writing Workshop - Tuesdays, June 19 & 26 @ 10:30 am. Please note different time.
A two-part creative writing workshop for ages 9-11. Preregistration is required; please do not register if child cannot attend both sessions.
- Learn Magic with Magician Lowell Tauszik - Thursday, June 21 @ 10:30 am. Please note different time.

- Sign to Your Baby/Toddler - This 5-week program will teach you how to sign with your baby from as early as 6 months old! Our fun and interactive classes teach you how to include signs naturally while interacting with your baby through daily routines, playtime, story time and music. Registration is required.

Greek Bilingual Story Time
Join us for an interactive story time with songs, stories and activities for speakers of Greek, English or both. All ages are welcome but story time is geared specifically for preschool and elementary children. Starts at 3:00 pm.

Weekly Reading Logs for Kids (Age 0-12)
June 18 to July 27
Pick up a reading log from the Youth Services staff. Fill in the amount of time you read or someone reads to you. Return the reading log to receive a reward and pick up another reading log. |
